New (One-Trip): These containers are built in specialized factories overseas and make a single cargo trip to Europe. They arrive in pristine condition, with clean floors, fresh original factory paint, and minimal to no cosmetic blemishes.

Used (Cargo Worthy / WWT): These units have been active in international shipping for 8–15 years. They will show cosmetic signs of wear (surface rust, dents, scratches), but remain 100% structurally sound, wind, and watertight.

Yes. Every single used container supplied by Dutch Container Trading (DCT) B.V. is inspected to ensure it is strictly Wind and Watertight (WWT). This means the roof and panels have no holes, the double door rubber gaskets seal tightly, and your cargo or stored goods remain completely protected from rain, wind, and pests.

We serve both private individuals and commercial businesses. Whether you need a single 20ft container for residential renovation/storage or 50 containers for an industrial construction project or freight forwarding, we handle orders of all sizes.

Standard ISO container specifications are as follows:

• 20ft Standard: External: 6.06m (L) x 2.44m (W) x 2.59m (H) | Internal: 5.90m x 2.35m x 2.39m | Volume: ~33.2 m³.
• 40ft Standard: External: 12.19m (L) x 2.44m (W) x 2.59m (H) | Internal: 12.03m x 2.35m x 2.39m | Volume: ~67.7 m³.
• 40ft High Cube: External height is 2.89m (9'6") | Volume: ~76.4 m³.

A High Cube container provides an extra 30 cm (1 foot) of vertical clearance (total external height of 2.89m / 9ft 6in). You should choose High Cube if you are:

• Storing or shipping tall machinery, vehicles, or high pallets.
• Planning a container conversion (office, workshop, or living unit) where ceiling insulation reduces headspace.
• Requiring maximum internal cubic storage capacity.

A CSC (Convention for Safe Containers) plate is an official metal safety certificate affixed to every shipping container used for international rail, sea, and road freight. If you intend to export or ship cargo internationally, we certify that the CSC plate is valid and up to date upon request.

Yes. We offer custom modification services directly through our depot facility, including:

• Professional high-security lockbox installations.
• Installing personnel walk-in doors and double-glazed windows with security shutters.
• Repainting in any desired RAL color to match your corporate identity.
• Internal lighting, electrical distribution boxes, and ventilation louvers.

We deliver nationwide throughout the Netherlands and Belgium using crane trucks (kraanwagens). The truck driver lifts the container directly off the chassis and places it accurately onto your designated ground location, typically up to 5–7 meters alongside the truck.

To ensure a smooth and safe offloading, please verify the following site conditions:

• Clear Access: A loaded crane truck requires at least 3.2 meters of roadway width and 4.2 meters of vertical clearance (free of tree branches and overhead cables).
• Firm Surface: The truck weighs between 25 to 40 tons; ground must be paved, concrete, or compacted gravel (not soft lawn or mud).
• Level Foundation: The spot where the container rests must be level (e.g., concrete slabs or timber sleepers placed under the four corner castings).

Yes. You or your chosen carrier can collect the container directly from our depot facility at Bunschotenweg 145, 3089KB Rotterdam. We will issue an official release reference number (pincode / referentie), and our depot gantry will load it onto your suitable container chassis free of charge.

Standard containers in stock are typically delivered within 3 to 5 business days following payment confirmation. Urgent, next-day expedited transport can often be arranged upon request.

Renting a container is straightforward and flexible. We deliver the container to your site for as long as you need it. Our minimum rental duration is typically 30 days, after which the contract rolls on a monthly basis until you request collection.

Yes. We offer secure terminal storage at our Rotterdam depot (Bunschotenweg 145). Our facility is fully paved, fenced, gated, and under 24/7 CCTV surveillance, ideal for temporary cargo consolidation or overflow business inventory.

Certainly. Customers are welcome to visit our Rotterdam depot by appointment to inspect the available inventory in person. Alternatively, our sales team can email high-resolution photos of the specific unit and its CSC plate prior to order confirmation.

Unless explicitly indicated otherwise, our B2B trade quotations are listed exclusive of 21% Dutch VAT (BTW). For private consumers in the Netherlands, the 21% VAT is itemized and clearly stated on the final quote and invoice.

We accept secure electronic payment methods:

If your container arrives with unexpected defects, structural leaks, or does not match the specifications ordered, we will rectify the situation immediately. In accordance with our Refund and Returns Policy, we provide on-site repair, an immediate replacement unit, or a 100% refund at zero additional charge to you.
