You may inspect it as needed to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. Handling beyond that may reduce the refund by any resulting loss in value; these conditions do not remove the statutory right of withdrawal:<\/p>\r\n          <ul>\r\n            <li><strong>Original Condition:<\/strong> Please avoid alteration or use beyond what is needed to inspect the container.<\/li>\r\n            <li><strong>Clean & Empty:<\/strong> The container must be completely empty, broom-clean, and free of any cargo residues, chemicals, or contaminants.<\/li>\r\n            <li><strong>CSC Plate & Identification:<\/strong> Structural safety certification (CSC safety plates) and manufacturer serial markings must remain unaltered and intact.<\/li>\r\n            <li><strong>Usage Limitation:<\/strong> You are liable for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the container.<\/li>\r\n          <\/ul>\r\n        <\/div>\r\n\r\n        <!-- Section 4 -->\r\n        <div class=\"dct-policy-section\">\r\n          <h2><span class=\"dct-section-number\">4<\/span> Return Logistics & Freight Costs<\/h2>\r\n          <p>Shipping containers are oversized freight commodities requiring specialized transport (crane trucks, side-loaders, or flatbed trailers):<\/p>\r\n          <ul>\r\n            <li><strong>Customer Responsibility:<\/strong> In accordance with Article 6:230s of the Dutch Civil Code, the direct costs of returning heavy freight items are borne by the customer, unless the return is due to an error, damage, or defect on our part.<\/li>\r\n            <li><strong>Return Method:<\/strong> Containers may be returned via authorized heavy-haul logistics carriers directly to our designated Rotterdam depot, or scheduled through our transport partners at a quoted carrier rate. Ask us for a return freight and crane handling estimate before ordering; these costs vary by location and container size.<\/li>\r\n            <li><strong>Restocking Fee:<\/strong> For an ordinary withdrawal, consumers pay the direct return transport and necessary crane handling costs, as disclosed before purchase. We do not charge a separate restocking fee.<\/li>\r\n          <\/ul>\r\n        <\/div>\r\n\r\n        <!-- Section 5 -->\r\n        <div class=\"dct-policy-section\">\r\n          <h2><span class=\"dct-section-number\">5<\/span> Damaged, Defective, or Non-Conforming Items<\/h2>\r\n          <p>All containers undergo rigorous inspection prior to dispatch. However, if a container arrives damaged, structurally compromised, or not matching the specifications ordered:<\/p>\r\n          <ul>\r\n            <li><strong>Immediate Notification:<\/strong> If possible, note visible exterior damage on the carrier delivery note (CMR \/ vrachtbrief) and report it promptly, ideally within <strong>48 hours<\/strong>, to <a href=\"mailto:verkoop@dutchcontainertrading.com\">verkoop@dutchcontainertrading.com<\/a> with photos if available. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or you provide evidence that you sent them back, whichever occurs first.
