1. Delivery area and dispatch

We sell and deliver to addresses in the Netherlands. Orders are dispatched from our Rotterdam depot at Bunschotenweg 145, 3089 KB Rotterdam. The checkout delivery area is the Netherlands. Contact us before ordering if your site has unusual access or crane requirements.

2. Delivery timing

Standard containers in stock are typically delivered within 3 to 6 business days in the Netherlands following order confirmation and payment clearance. This includes 1 to 2 business days for handling and 2 to 4 business days for transit. We confirm a delivery appointment before dispatch. Custom modifications may take longer; the estimated schedule is provided before you order.

Depot collection can be arranged in advance. Our depot team will provide a release reference and loading appointment. Collection requires a suitable container vehicle.

3. Transport and site access

A crane truck can lift the container from the vehicle and place it on suitable level ground, generally alongside the truck. Flatbed or chassis delivery requires you to provide suitable lifting equipment at the destination. Confirm the available method and placement location with our team before dispatch.

Ensure vehicle access, a clear route, suitable ground bearing capacity, and space for safe offloading. A minimum gate width of about 3.2 m and overhead clearance of about 4.2 m may be needed; the actual vehicle and container dimensions will be confirmed for your order. Tell us the required door orientation before loading.

4. Scheduling, inspection, and failed delivery

We contact you to agree a delivery window. Check the container on arrival and note visible transport damage on the delivery record where possible. Email photos and details promptly to verkoop@dutchcontainertrading.com. A delayed report does not remove your statutory rights.

If delivery cannot be completed because the site is inaccessible or unsafe, we will discuss a new appointment and disclose any actual additional carrier costs before arranging redelivery.
